This is a new idea on how to address a gift. These lovely, inexpensive hand-made gift tags are quite easy to make. I shared some ideas for affordable gift tags in an earlier post. They are fun and easy to make, and so much cheaper than buying cards!

I made some traditional (basic) gift tags with my Cricut, which you could very easily make by hand. I also explored a more fun kid-friendly gift tag. You can check both of those out in my Fun and Affordable Gift Tag Ideas post.
This new design is a tag full of love. I designed this for a bridal shower gift for my neighbor’s daughter who is getting married this summer. These tags would be great for an anniversary gift. You can use them for any other gifting rooted in love. Change it up with different colors.
Lovely, Inexpensive Hand-Made Gift Tags
Lovely, inexpensive DIY gift tags are made on my Cricut. These tags are a bit more challenging to make by hand, but can still be done. To make these by hand, I would recommend using a stencil for the heart shape. You can make your own stencil by drawing a heart on some cardboard and cutting it out. I recommend using a lighter weight cardboard, like a notebook cover or case of pop. Once you cut out the heart, trace around the edge. You can mimic the design I created by tracing all the way around the heart. Then, shift the heart a little bit and trace around portions of the heart. This will create various lines giving texture to the heart shape. Take the same heart (or cut out one slightly smaller) and overlap with the first heart you drew. Trace the heart. If you went for the multi-line design, repeat that process on your second heart. Add your To: and From: …how lovely!
To you, with love!
