Why "Bug Eyes"?

The Short Answer: Coded safety and a hilarious voice-to-text typo.
The Real Story: When a friend was dictating a message about our statement bracelets, her phone auto-transcribed "not all of these have to sa 'FUCK ICE'" into "not all of these have to say 'Bug Eyes'."
The name stuck instantly. Using Bug Eyes as our public project name provides a layer of literary camouflage. It gives you a completely neutral label on order receipts, payment links, and shipping forms.
Built for Rapid Offloading:
More than just a statement, these open aluminum cuffs are intentionally designed for quick physical removal. In a critical situation, you can quickly pull the band off and toss it to a bystander or on the ground. Your vital emergency contacts are etched right onto the metal, allowing someone to notify your loved ones immediately without relying on an unlocked phone, cellular service, or digital tracking.
